I am excited!!! I get to share my favorite things! I am in my mid 40’s, so I have been an adult for a few years. I love technology, it can simplify our lives, but usually, the creators have to modify it. I’ve seen the item - looks fantastic but is short-lived. We need to make sure this is worth our investment.

Tips to buying

1. Do your research

  • Check how long this product has been on the shelf

  • Check the reviews

  • Check prices - is this worth the money?

2. When and where to buy

  • Most items have “the best time to buy” ( ask yourself if it's worth waiting for)

  • Check where to find the best deal (google search)

3. Give yourself time to think this over

  • Make sure this is what you want and don’t try to keep up with your friends

  • Most times, the company will contact you through text or email. Are you still interested in _______? And they might even give you a coupon to use.

Anything is cheaper than the original price.

4. Never buy when you don’t have the money. Sure, you get it for $5.00 less, but if you pay interest - The companies are the true winners.

Ok, now for the good stuff!

My top 25 Favorite Things

NOTE: I used all pricing through Amazon (except #11), but you might find it cheaper somewhere else. Enter the name I given and it will show you what the item looks like

1. Snake Clog Remover- I use this in my bathroom sinks and showers ( I never need Drano). I also use this when I have a clog in my vacuum hose. Less than $10!

2. LED Garage Ceiling Lights (3-4 lights that move up or down) Lights up the room 3x brighter. Around $20.00

3. Pet Cargo Liner for your car trunk. I love this since I clean houses. Chemicals can spill and my car is protected. It also has a cover that lays on the bumper, so I don’t scratch the paint getting things in or out. $20.00-$30.00

4. Clear Large Storage Container for the bottom kitchen cabinets. I get a large one that will fit my cabinet measurements. That way, I can slide that in and out, even put it on the counter if needed. Prices vary (Measure and go 1” smaller to ensure it fits.)

Note: You want it to be strong enough not to break - So no Dollar Tree tub

5. Spice Jars with Labels- I have mine in a silverware drawer (holds 60) all in a row and labels are on the side and tops. I didn't buy a storage rack. There was no need. $20.00-$30,00

6. Hand Held Shower Head with multiple settings- I clean houses, which makes my job so much easier when I clean the shower. Under $20.00

7. Smart Garage Control - This baby has saved me so many times!!! I love having access to my garage door so that I can open or close it in emergencies! Prices will vary

8. Ring Doorbell - I love seeing what’s happening and can hear and talk to the person. The picture quality is excellent. A little pricy but well worth the investment. $100 for the door and $200 for the garage. Get the one with motion detectors.

9. Fosmon 24-Hour Digital Timer- This is so easy to set up. We plug in our lights and it's a great way to show activity in the home if you are gone. 2 for less than $20.00

10. 3 Barrel Curling Rod - An effortless way to give your hair a natural curl without burning the fingers. Less than $20.00

11. EveryPlate - I’m not into buying subscriptions, but this definitely fits our family's needs. My husband has some health issues, so we need to be better with our meals. The meals are delicious. When our son is home from college, we add a simple side to stretch the meal. 5 Meals with 2 servings each = $70 includes tax and shipping

12. Umbrella Car Windshield - this baby is AMAZING! It expands and collapses like an umbrella. Ir will keep the car cooler during the summer months. About $10.00

13. YomiFamilyResistance Bands - Exercise bands made out of polyester and latex silk, Better quality than the Latex rubber bands. $10.00 and up

14. Germ Guardian Air Purifier - Our son-in-law is highly allergic to cats and he said his allergies are good while at our house Around $100

15. Projection Alarm Clock - If you wake up in the middle of the night, you can just look up to see the time. Ours also gives outdoor temp, which is nice for the winter, $10 and up.

16. Ok To Wake Clocks for kids - Great way to teach your kids when it's okay to come out of their room. I remember my kids coming into our room at 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning. Where were these when my kids were young? $20 and up

17. Air fryer - I’m not into wonder gadgets that can do five things at once. But the Air fryer is my go to small appliance when I want something crispy. It takes 5-10 mins for precooked food and 5-20 mins for raw depending on if it's an egg, chicken, or mini cake. $60.00 and up

18. Roll up Drying Rack- This is much more convenient and takes less space than a regular dish rack. You could use this to dry dishes or fruits and veggies. Only $10.00

19. Duvet Cover- Bye Bye oversized comforter that doesn’t fit into the washing machine. Put the cover on and you will only have to wash that. I used my old comforter, as the blanket works perfectly! Under $30

20. Heated Mattress Pad with dual control- Mind blown! Best thing ever for a couple that never agrees on the house temp. And it will make an excellent heating pad too. $100 or less

21. Touch lamp - Ours is 20+ years old and we use it every night. It's so much easier than reaching to turn it off. Prices vary depending on what you want.

22. 3 Tier Rolling Storage cart with slide-out drawers (Made by Spacesaver) Fits in between your washer and dryer. $25.00

23. Expandable water hose - Where have you been all my life? This hose will reach every corner of our yard and we use it to fill up our fish and turtle aquariums. When finished, let it drain out of the hose. It shrinks to around 25’ and is very lightweight! I have the 100’. $35.. And it comes with everything you need!!!! I love this bad boy.

24. Owl Decoy - This will keep away the birds! I keep ours by our front door since the birds like to build their nest there. This simple guy will bring you such joy and no crap (pun intended). Less than $20.00

25. Window Privacy film - When we were broken into, we had to fix the problem of people looking into our house. This static cling paper will give you the privacy you need without a huge cost. $10 0r less
